ABOUT

Safara Rowland is a born and raised Brooklynite with an African American and Japanese background. Her diverse culture allows her to venture more authentic and intersected stories. She is a talented and versatile actor, dedicated to bringing captivating performances to the screen and stage. She is about to graduate from Pace University with a major in BFA Acting and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. Not only is she a creative being but is passionate about Justice studies because now more than ever our world needs to be brought together with empathy and compassion. 

Her recent works include Pace University's first all black production of August Wilson's Seven Guitars. She is extremely grateful and proud of her work in this production and ability to bring the audience into the world of Philadelphia in the 1940s

She also is in the process of becoming a certified Actor Combatant so she can kick butt on stage and look cool!
